Owner, Founder & Master Plumber
Michael Holman—known to most people as Mike—is the founder, owner, and president of Holman’s Quality Plumbing. A Bryan native who grew up in the Bryan–College Station area, Mike built the company around a straightforward idea: local customers should be able to count on knowledgeable plumbers, honest communication, and work completed with care.
Mike founded Holman’s Quality Plumbing in 2008 to serve the residential and commercial plumbing needs of the Brazos Valley. Since then, HQP has grown into a full-service plumbing company supporting homeowners, businesses, contractors, property managers, new construction, remodeling projects, and emergency service calls throughout Bryan, College Station, and nearby communities.
Building a local plumbing company
Mike’s local roots give him a practical understanding of the properties, construction activity, and plumbing needs found across the Bryan–College Station community. Under his leadership, HQP handles work ranging from leak detection, drain cleaning, water heaters, sewer and pipe repairs, fixtures, gas lines, and filtration systems to commercial installations, renovations, and coordinated new-construction plumbing.
As the company’s owner and president, Mike’s role extends beyond the work performed in the field. He helps guide service standards, team development, project coordination, customer communication, and the company’s long-term direction. His goal is to maintain a team that can respond to everyday plumbing problems while also supporting complex residential and commercial projects.
Professional leadership and workmanship
Mike is a Texas Master Plumber and Responsible Master Plumber, license number 38403. That professional responsibility shapes the way HQP approaches safety, workmanship, training, and accountability. Mike emphasizes clear recommendations, attention to detail, and solutions that fit the property and the customer’s actual plumbing concern.
Holman’s Quality Plumbing continues to invest in experienced people, properly equipped service vehicles, and current plumbing methods so the team can address both established systems and modern equipment. Mike remains focused on building long-term customer relationships and keeping HQP responsive to the homes, businesses, and projects that rely on its services.
Entrepreneurship beyond plumbing
Mike is also a co-founder and vice president of Saskatoon Waterfowl Outfitters, a Saskatchewan-based outfitter that creates guided duck, goose, and Sandhill crane hunting experiences. His involvement with the operation dates back to at least 2007 and reflects the same emphasis on preparation, knowledgeable teams, hospitality, and customer experience that informs his leadership at HQP.
Community and conservation involvement
Mike’s work extends beyond his businesses. Through Saskatoon Waterfowl Outfitters, he has supported outdoor and conservation organizations, including contributing a fully guided Canadian waterfowl hunt to a National Wild Turkey Federation benefit auction in 2020. He also remains connected to Bryan and College Station through the local customers, businesses, contractors, and organizations served by Holman’s Quality Plumbing.
